Sourdough - the king of all breads! Is there a limit oton how much you can eat? I could eat a whole loaf by myself in one sitting!

Alone with butter and a sprinkle of flaky salt, as a beautiful sandwich or grilled and topped with tomatoes and mozzarella.

It’s amazing to think that with just flour, water and salt you can end up with the most amazing bread. But if you have ever attempted to make your own sourdough (I have), you will know that it’s not that simple. Like all good things, it takes time and more importantly, you need a good sourdough starter.

Luckily we have our very own in-house sourdough expert and enthusiast, Freddy May, with his Beginner's Guide to Sourdough, complete with all the information you will need to master sourdough.

In celebration of #SourdoughSeptember, here are some of our favourite CooklyBookly sourdough recipes.

@date_night_dishes has the perfect lunch idea with this amazing Lemon Mayo Dressed Crab, Apple and Toasted Sourdough

Or how about @deanedwardschef's epic Tomato Panzanella Bread Salad

And we’re in love with @imtheonewhocooks Sourdough Pizza Dough recipe

Battered, steamed, poached, fried, in a pie, wrapped in a taco and topped with all the good stuff, we truly love a good fish recipe here at CooklyBookly.

The beautiful thing about fish is that it’s so versatile and can take on so many different flavours. Simply grilled and finished off with a squeeze of lemon or poached in a fragrant curry full of amazing herbs and spices, there are so many different ways of cooking fish.

We’re spoiled for choice with all your wonderful recipes, but here are a few of our favourites.

Let’s face it, we can not talk about fish and not mention Britain's favourite Friday night treat, so here is my recipe for Fish, Chips and Minty Peas.

@healthyfitbella has us wanting to jump on a plane to Rio De Janeiro with this little Brazilian number, Brazilian Fish Stew

And we are loving @anjuladevi’s Indian Spicy Haddock Scotch Eggs

We are looking at introducing you lovely lot to our Instagram feed. So if you're not shy, strike a pose, smile and email us your photo for us to share.

Sat in a beachfront restaurant on holiday, in the kitchen cooking, sat in the garden enjoying a drink or a funny photo, whatever you think would work best. Feel free to be a creative as you want! But please remember the main part of the photo needs to be visible in a square Instagram image.

That's it for now, stay safe and happy cooking!
