Fire Up The Grills!

Fire Up The Grills!

CooklyBookly is the perfect place for culinary creators to store recipes, techniques, blogs and videos. However, once you have a lot of content, organising it all into Collections offers a better experience for everyone.

Collections are like a digital cookbook. You can organise everything into chapters and pages and then let people browse through them like a book or by bringing up the table of contents.

Of course, you can have more than one Collection. You could have Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Collections. Or you can create collections by food type. It’s completely up to you.

NATIONAL BBQ WEEK : 2nd - 11th July 2021

This is the time of the year that we all become experts in all things grilling. That age-old question rears its ugly head as we dispute if coal is better than gas and if cooking on a gas BBQ is even BBQing. We become really self-confident that our ribs are better than anyone else’s and that a real BBQ sauce should be sweet not spicy or vice versa.

What we can all agree on is that it doesn’t matter where you are from, who you are or where you live, as soon as that sun makes an appearance, we roll out the BBQ. We then all run out to buy one too many bags of coal, maybe buy a game for the garden, lots of drinks and enough food to feed an army.

There is something special or even magically about grilling fish, meat, veg or pretty much anything on a BBQ. That distinctive smell, the flavour, the fact that you are outside in the sun cooking over an open flame, there is nothing like it.

Barbecuing is so much more than just throwing on a load of coal and setting it light. There is a technique to it, a method and lots of do’s and don'ts. Barbecuing is completely different to conventional cooking. It requires skill and patience. You may be a master of the hob but that doesn’t mean you are a grill god. Luckily, Richard Holden is on hand to help with his Banishing BBQ Myths collections.

If you are planning a BBQ here are a few ideas to get you on your way.

Have you ever tried fish on a BBQ? If not, you need to try out @zarskitchen’s BBQ Sea Bream with a Wafu Chimichurri.

How about giving a Spanish classic the BBQ treatment with’s BBQ Paella.

Every BBQ needs some chicken and @lululemonandlace’s BBQ Chicken Satay Skewers are next level.

And you just got to have a burger on that BBQ, but how about topping it off with @mcr.foodie’s Ultimate BBQ Pulled Pork.

Gabriella is a chef by trade and a foodie at heart. With a big Italian family, from a young age she always knew food was her passion. She’s grown up around honest, homemade family cooking.

She now runs the kitchen, alongside her crazy family, in their Italian restaurant. Throughout the years, she’s been on several television shows, including My Kitchen Rules, Yes Chef and, most recently, Crazy Delicious. Her aim is to share her own recipes and take the fear out of cooking, bringing families back to the table!

Some of our favourite @gabriellas_kitchen recipes include:
