Reunited with Flying Cows who are burger street food traders based in the Midlands. 


As a food enthusiast I enjoy street food events and food festivals. There is always a buzz in the air with so many smells and sounds so it was great to be out. I visited Rowheath Pavillion and everything was safe and socially distanced which was also great to see.


This was my first burger eaten in the streets since lockdown began and it almost brought me to tears! I can make a decent burger at home and have enjoyed using DIY kits that traders have created to have a street food experience at home. But nothing compares to the real deal cooked by the professionals!


I had a dirty, filthy, cheesy off-menu special with bacon, cheese, burger sauce, sriracha, chillis and crispy onions. Honestly, it was so emotional biting into those buns! So much flavour bursting through through with the sweetness of the bacon, the tanginess of the burger sauce and the spicy kick from the chillies and sriracha.


Nice to get back to a little bit of normality and as events are slowly coming back hopefully a second peak doesn’t ruin things or it will be the cruellest summer ever!
