Ingredients
Pork and marinade
  • 2 Thick cut pork chops
  • 2 tbsps Jerk seasoning
  • 2 tbsps Honey
  • 1 Juice of a lime
Jerk sauce
  • 6 tbsps Tomato ketchup
  • 3 tbsps Chilli honey (regular honey will also be fine)
  • 2 tsps Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsps Jerk seasoning
  • 3 tbsps Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp English mustard
  • 1 Juice of a lime
  • 2 tsps Molasses

Total 2 hours 40 minutes

Super easy! Just mix the marinade ingredients and smother the pork chops. Refrigerate for 1 hour.


Preheat your oven to 180℃


Mix the sauce ingredients together and bring to a simmer in a saucepan for about 5 mins and until slightly thickened. Set aside.


Heat some oil in a skillet and add the chops. Cook until browned. Pour over half the sauce and transfer to the oven for 20 to 30 minutes (depending on thickness of the pork). Pour over the remaining sauce 5 mins before the end.


Serve with rice, a fried egg and some pickled red onions.
