Ingredients
Marination for shrimps
  • 300 g Raw shrimps
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Chilli oil
  • 1 tsp Freshly ground black peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Sriracha
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
Other ingredients
  • 4 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 Small red onion (sliced)
  • 5 Green onion (chopped into 1 inch long pieces)
  • 2 Thai red chilies (finely sliced)
  • 4 Chinese dry red chillies

Garlic Shrimps

  1. Marinate the shrimps with the ingredients mentioned in the section "Marination for shrimps" for 15-30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and gently sear the shrimps for a couple of minutes each side and keep them aside.
  2. Mix the ingredients for the sauce and keep it aside.
  3. Heat a tbsp. of oil in the wok and the diced garlic, Thai red chilies and the dried chilies and sauté for a couple of minutes till the garlic has softened. Add the sliced onions and continue frying till the onions look translucent.
  4. Add back the shrimps and continue sautéing for a couple of minutes and then add the sauce. Toss the wok so that the sauce coats everything well. Check your seasoning and then add the chopped green onions and toss for another 1-2 minutes. Switch off the heat and serve hot
