- Dust your cauliflower in a little flour place all of your dry ingredients into a zip lock bag
- In 2 bowls add beaten egg in 1 a little salt will make this easier and some unseasoned flower in another.
- Dust your cauliflower steak in the plain flour. then coat in the egg mixture
- Do the same with the halloumi
- Now 1 by 1 add to the zip look bag and gently agitate until the halloumi and cauliflower are completely covered in the spicy flour. you can if you would like a thicker coating dip in the egg for a second time and then back in to the seasoned flour.
- Gently shallow fry for around 5 mins or until golden the cauliflower should be crispy on the out side and soft in the middle same with the cheese
- Meanwhile lightly toast your bun
- Now build. a little of mayo then the crispy lettuce topped with your cauliflower and halloumi burgers,
- I served mine with crispy string fries KFC style Gravy (recipe to follow) and Mexican inspired corn on the cob (recipe to follow)
