Ingredients
  • 225 g Paneer (Cottage Cheese), cut into cubes
  • 2 tsps Oil/Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste

  • 2 Green Chillies, Sliced
  • 1 Large Tomato, Sliced
  • 1 Large Green Bell Pepper, Sliced
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Kitchen King Masala Powder (Optional)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Dry Mango Powder (Amchur)
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
  • 1 tsp Coriander leaves, chopped
  • ¼ Cup water
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp Cream (Optional)
Paneer Kadai Paneer Kadai
Paneer Kadai

A super simple and easy paneer recipe to go with naan, roti or cumin rice. It is a quick weeknight meal option and will leave you craving for more!

Prep 15 minutes
Total 30 minutes
  1. Heat oil/ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  2. Add onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Cook till the raw smell of ginger garlic goes away and onion turns light golden brown.
  3. Add tomato and bell peppers followed by all the powders (turmeric, red chilli, cumin, coriander, kitchen king masala, garam masala, dry mango) and cook till the tomato turn mushy. (About 5 mins)
  4. Add the paneer and mix well. Add kasuri methi and cook for 5mins.
  5. At this point you can mix in some cream but this is completely optional. Garnish with coriander leaves and Kadai Paneer is ready!!!
