- In a large bowl, mix the pancake ingredients together until you've achieved a smooth consistency
- In a pan on medium heat, heat a capful of oil. Once the oil is hot, use a large spoon or ladle to spoon the mixture into the pan
- Cook the pancake until small bubbles begin to form, at this point you should flip the pancake
- When both sides are golden brown, the pancake is ready
- Lightly brush your bacon with maple syrup (using as little or as much as you want)
- Cook the bacon according to packet instructions
- Serve the bacon on top of the pancakes with extra maple syrup if you like
