One Pan Waffle One Pan Waffle

One Pan Waffle

This is a more'ish brunch recipe for all the family, we all love a thick waffle and what's even better is that its all done in one pan!

Cut it up into fingers and dip them in maple syrup!

Prep 10 minutes
Total 25 minutes
  1. Grab a mixing bowl, add the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and mix together. In another bowl add the eggs and milk and whisk until combined.
  2. Pour in the milk mixture and the cooled melted butter into the flour mixture and stir together until combined, try not to over mix as it will toughen to the waffle.
  3. Now grab a large non stick frying pan and place over medium heat, drop a knob of butter in and melt it around the pan. Now pour the waffle mixture in and spread it through out the pan. Cook for 5-6mins until you see a crust forming around the sides and you can see a lot of air bubbles in the mixture.
  4. After 6mins be brave and with a spatula or a plate, flip the waffle over carefully or move it out onto a plate then flip the plate into the pan to cook to the side, don't be worrying if you break the waffle when trying to turn it over, it's all good. Cook for a further 5mins.
  5. Once cooked, remove from pan and place on a chopping board, cut into fingers or pieces and dip into maple syrup, or you can dress the top of the waffle in maple syrup. Enjoy
