Chicken, Broccoli and Mushroom Stir-Fry

Stir-fry is one of the dishes where you can add any veggie you like. So, I have made chicken stir-fry using broccoli and mushrooms today. This is a one pot dish. You keep everything ready for the dish and then cook everything on a high flame. Chicken stir-fry is ready under 30 minutes. Enjoy it with steamed rice or any kind of noodles.

ingredients

Sauce

  • Chicken stock: 125 ml
  • Soy sauce: 4 tbsp
  • Ginger juice: 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder: 1/3 tsp
  • Chilli flakes: 1 tsp
  • Brown sugar: 2 tsp
  • Sesame oil: 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour: 1 tbsp

Other ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken thighs: 500 gm
  • Broccoli: 1 (cut into florets)
  • Onion: 1 (sliced)
  • Mushroom: 100 gm
  • Olive oil: 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves: 3 (finely chopped)
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder: 1/3 tsp

Stir-fry is one of the dishes where you can add any veggie you like. So, I have made chicken stir-fry using broccoli and mushrooms today. This is a one pot dish. You keep everything ready for the dish and then cook everything on a high flame. Chicken stir-fry is ready under 30 minutes. Enjoy it with steamed rice or any kind of noodles.

Step 1:

Cut the chicken thighs into 2 inch pieces.

Step 2:

Sprinkle the chicken pieces with salt and pepper powder. Mix well.

Step 3:

Prepare the sauce in a bowl using the ingredients written under 'sauce'.

Step 4:

Prep the veggies.

Step 5:

In a large frying pan/wok, add oil (2 tbsp), heat it up on a high flame. Add the sliced onion and garlic, sauté for a minute. Now add the broccoli florets and mushroom. Sauté and cook them for 3-4 minutes. Transfer them to a plate.

Step 6:

Add oil (2 tbsp), now add the chicken pieces and let it cook for 3-4 minutes on high flame. Now flip the chicken pieces and let it cook for 3-4 minutes, so there is slight browning on both the sides of the chicken pieces.

Step 7:

Now transfer broccoli and mushroom back into the frying pan with chicken pieces. Add the sauce and mix well. Let the sauce coat the chicken pieces and veggies. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken. Stir-fry is ready to serve. Enjoy the dish whilst hot or else the broccoli florets will lose their crunch and turn soggy.
