  • 314 g Dark Terry’s chocolate orange, chopped
  • 50 g Butter
  • 300 ml Double cream
  • 20 ml Orange essence
  • 2 Orange zest
  • 50 g Cocoa powder
Easy Chocolate Orange Truffles

These delicious chocolate truffles are super easy to make and will make a great handmade christmas present.

  1. Smash up the two chocolate oranges and chop them into small pieces. Place the chocolate in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, add the double cream, butter, orange essence and the zest of two oranges.
  3. Heat over a medium heat until almost boiling.
  4. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and leave to stand for a minute.
  5. Use a whisk to beat the cream and chocolate together until you have a smooth and glossy consistency.
  6. Pour the chocolate into a large tray and put it in the fridge for a few hours until it sets.
  7. Use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, then coat each one in cocoa powder.
  8. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
  9. Enjoy.
