ingredients

Sauce

  • 2 tbsps Olive oil
  • 3 tbsps Tomato purée
  • 2 Tins chopped tomatoes
  • 2 Fine diced carrots
  • 2 Fine diced onions
  • 2 Fine diced celery sticks

Meatballs

  • 500 g Mince beef
  • 2 Garlic gloves
  • 2 tbsps Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Basil
  • ½ tsp Onion powder
  • 50 g Grated mozzarella

6 large soft Baguttes

  • 100 g Grated mozzarella

Meatball subs

  1. combine the diced carrot onion and celery in a saucepan with the olive oil cook until soft , then add the tomato purée and tin tomatoes cook until thickened
  2. in a bowl combine the mince , garlic seasoning , mozzarella , Form 20 to 30 gram balls , grill or oven cook for 10/12 mins then transfer to the sauce to keep warm
  3. when your ready to assemble , slice your buns and fill with the meatballs & sauce , sprinkle with mozzarella and grill until the mozzarella is melted and golden.
