  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 100 g Unsalted butter

Brown Butter Mashed Potato

  1. Peel and chop your potatoes and boil until cooked through.
  2. Meanwhile in a light coloured saucepan, brown your butter until it smells hazelnutty and the milk solids have been toasted but aren’t burnt. Decant into a bowl.
  3. When the potatoes are cooked, drain and mash them, adding most (but not all of the brown butter). Add salt to taste.
  4. Serve drizzled with the remaining brown butter on top.
