Cheat's Way Of Having A Home Comfort

Traditional broths for ramens can take hours of boiling bones but this takes 15mins from start to finish and is packed with flavour and texture

Prep 5 minutes
Total 15 minutes
  1. Grab a large pan and place over high heat, add 1 little of water and bring to the boil. Once boiled add the noodles and cook for 2min until soft, when the noodles are soft, grab the noodles with tongs and separate into 2 ramen bowls (or standard kitchen bowls).
  2. Back to the boiling water, add the vegetable powder, stock cube, soy sauce, noodle powder packets, honey, sweet chilli and lime to the pan, stir and boil for 10mins to infuse all the flavours.
  3. After 10mins, taste the broth and adjust seasoning if needed. If you're happy then begin to build your ramen, pour the broth equally into both bowls until it just about reaches the top of the noodles, add the prawns, chilli, spring onion, carrots and lime. Drizzle with sriracha sauce and dig in. Enjoy
