Ingredients
  • 500 g Jumbo shrimp
  • 300 g Penne pasta
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • Parsley chopped
  • 2 Spring onions, chopped
  • Oil for frying
  • Mixed peppers
Shrimp
  • 1 tbsp Jerk seasoning
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
Sauce
  • 2 cups double cream
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp All purpose
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Jerk seasoning

Jerk shrimp pasta

  • Cook pasta according to the package instructions, take it out at “al dente” as you will cook it more in the next steps.
  • Season your shrimp with the ingredients listed above and shallow fry in some olive oil for 3-4 minutes on medium heat. Then remove from the pot, and set aside to add later.
  • Add oil oil to a heavy bottomed pot, and saute bell peppers with green onions. Add the minced garlic and cook until it’s fragrant.
  • Add jerk seasoning to the pot.
  • Add double cream and seasoning to the pot. Simmer for a few minutes or until the sauce thickens, mix in the grated cheese in the sauce and then mix in the pasta. 
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions or parsley and serve.
  • Enjoy!
