Ingredients
  • 32 Oz No sodium Chicken Broth
  • 2 lbs Chicken Breast
  • 1 Chopped onion
  • 4 Cloves of chopped garlic
  • 3 Stalks of chopped celery
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Carrots diced
  • EVOO
  • 1 tsp Parsley Flakes
  • 2 Sprigs of fresh thyme
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • 1 Cup Dry Macaroni

Mama Jill’s Chicky Soup


  1. Heat up a Dutch oven/pot on medium. Once hot add EVOO & Butter.
  2. Add chopped onions, garlic, & celery. Let sizzle and stir. Once golden add all of the broth.
  3. Once it boils, add parsley and thyme. Toss the chicken in there, as is (wash it first!) no need to cut or season. It’s gonna fall apart in the soup on its own… and we’re using NATURAL seasonings here. That’s how Mama Jill does it…. Your Aunt Gertie uses fake seasonings? GOOD. Go make her soup!
  4. Let it sit for a while. (About 20 min). Once chicken is fully cooked, add your carrots and macaroni. Let it cook for another 20 minutes.
  5. Whip up a little girl cheese (in our house we call it GIRL cheese 😌💅🏻) (grilled cheese).
  6. Serve and Enjoy!!!
