Ingredients
  • 1 Nest of noodles
  • 1 Pak choi
  • ¼ white onion
  • 2 cabbage leaves sliced
  • ½ carrot, sliced
  • 2 chicken thighs
Sauce
  • 1 Heaped teaspoon cornflour
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • ½ tsp chopped garlic
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • 50 ml water

Chicken Lo Mein


  1. Put a wok on high heat, when it starts to smoke add a tablespoon of oil and then the sliced onion and cook this for around 2 minutes continually stirring.
  2. Add the sliced white part of the pak choi and the garlic and stir, then add the sliced carrot, cabbage and cooked chicken - continually stirring as you go.
  3. Mix the sauce in a separate bowl
  4. Add to the wok the cooked noodles and green parts of the pak choi & the chicken and toss
  5. Add the sauce and stir, let it reduce and serve
