Ingredients
  • 70 g Chocolate protein powder
  • 90 g Oats
  • 80 g Peanut butter
  • 12 Medjool dates (pitted)
  • 2 tbsps Almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 70 g Dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa)
  • Crushed peanuts

Dark chocolate protein balls

Perfect for a pre or post workout snack and also goes beautifully with a coffee when in need of a quick pick me up.

Prep 10 minutes
Total 10 minutes
  1. Add the protein powder, dates, oats, peanut butter and 1 tbsp of milk to a food processor - Blitz for 2 minutes.
  2. Add another tbsp of milk - blitz for a further minute until the mixture turns into a thick dough.
  3. Roll into 7 balls and place on a plate lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate for 60 seconds (2x30 second intervals stirring in between each one)
  5. Roll the balls one at a time in the melted chocolate before placing back on the parchment paper. Top with the crushed peanuts and place in the fridge for 15 minutes until set.
