Spaghetti & Meatballs

Spaghetti & Meatballs

Swedish style

Comforting, warming & tasty!

1) Start by getting a pan of water on the boil and throw the pasta in - should take about 8-10 mins to cook if you want it al dente

2) Whilst the pasta is cooking prepare the rest of your veg

3) In another pan, with some oil, sauté the onions for about 3 mins then add the garlic in - sauté for a further 2 mins gently

4) Now add in the meatballs, mustard, nutmeg, salt and pepper along with a couple ladle's of the pasta water

5) Lower the heat and cook it covered for 8 mins or until the meatballs are tender

6) Drain the pasta (keep some of the water) and throw that in to the pan - gently combine on the low heat

7) Pour in the double cream and bring to a gentle simmer

8) If it's too thick for you, add more of the pasta water

Season to taste and enjoy!
