Prep 5 minutes
Total 15 minutes
  1. Grab 2 mixing bowls, in one bowl add the milk and egg and whisk together, in the other add the dry ingredients and whisk together.
  2. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk for 30secs, then pour in the melted butter and whisk for a further 20secs and leave to stand for 5mins.
  3. In a large non stick frying pan, place over medium/high heat and grease with butter, once foaming with a spoon (big or small, you choose) start to add spoonfuls of the butter into 4 or 2 portions and cook on each side for 20secs on one side and 15secs on the other, once lovely and browned take off the heat and place on a plate and repeat for all until batter is gone.
  4. Once done then you can dress them with maple syrup, butter, sugar, lemon juice and chocolate spread etc, whichever you choose. Enjoy
