Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp oil plus more for the pan
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Small stale bun
  • 1½ tbsps seasoning of your choice, combined ( I combined dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, pepper)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¾ Cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tbsps grated parmigiano cheese
  • ¾ Cup canned or frozen peas, optional
  • 10 slices ham to line your bundt pan
Meatloaf cake

I love this simplicity and versatility of this recipe. Basically you make it and bake it and then forget it. It can be combined with so many different sides and the best part is that I slice it up and use it in sandwiches for the next day. You have the option of adding peas or any other chopped vegetable, just cook it a bit of it’s a very tough veggies like kale or broccoli.

  1. Soak the bread in water and squeeze out the extra water.
  2. Combine all ingredients except the ham in a bowl.
  3. Lightly oil your bundt pan and line it with the ham slices.
  4. Add the meat mixture to your pan and press down lightly.  Fold over the remaining slice of ham if there is any sticking out.
  5. Bake at 375F for about 40-50 minutes or until it is fully cooked.
  6. Let it cool for 5 minutes in the pan before flipping over onto a plate.  Place the plate over the pan and flip it all together.  Let it cool another 5 minutes before cutting. It will continue to cook even after it has been removed from the oven.
