  • 1 Carton of Chicken Broth
  • 1 lb Boneless Chicken
  • 1 Onion
  • Garlic cloves (MWL)
  • A few celery stalks
  • 2 Cups Heavy cream or milk of choice
  • 3 tbsps Corn Starch
  • Couple handfuls of Spinach
  • ½ Large carrot
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp EVOO
  • Parmesan Cheese (MWL)
  • ½ tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 Cup Gnocchi

Mama Jill’s Chicken Gnocchi Soup


  1. Heat up a Dutch oven or pot on medium heat. Pour some EVOO in.
  2. Cook Chicken in the pan, set aside.
  3. Chop onions, garlic, and celery. Cook in the EVOO’ed Dutch oven/pot.
  4. Once sautéed, add in a ½ Cup of milk. Mix.
  5. Once it starts to bubble, add in ½ tsp of cornstarch. Mix well.
  6. Add in another ½ Cup of milk, mix. Once bubbling add ½ tsp of Corn starch. mix.
  7. Add ½ Cup of milk, mix. ½ tsp of cornstarch. Mix. Repeat until it runs out. You should have a thick substance now.
  8. Add in chicken broth ½ Cup at a time and mix. Once all broth is added in, chop spinach, carrots and chicken. Add in.
  9. Add in all spices. Mix it up… REAL GOOD!
  10. Let it sit for a half hour and serve!



**Top with some croutons for a little crunch (:
