INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Avoacados
  • ½ Tomato - diced
  • 2 Garlic cloves - minced
  • 1½ Limes - juiced
  • 1 Small yellow onion
  • ½ Jalapeno - minced / *I also use 1 tsp of the oil from hot giardiniera peppers
  • 1 Handful of fresh cilantro - chopped
  • 1 Heaped teaspoon Coarse salt
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ground pepper

This guac will have you saying guacamore! Seriously. It's a hit. If you're wanting to up your pot-luck strategy for the post-COVID world, this is it, folks. Double the recipe if you're feeding more than 4 people because it'll be gone fast (from my own experience)!

There's not much to this one...just prep your ingredients, mash avocado with a fork, mix together, and enjoy!


*TIP: Don't toss your avocado pits! Place them in your bowl of guacamole to prevent it from browning. You can also squeeze a lemon wedge over top before refrigerating to stop this process. The best way to store is in an airtight container with plastic wrap covering the surface of the guac before putting the lid on it. This reduces the amount of oxygen accessible to it and keeps it fresh!
