Lemon Garlic Prawns in Butter Sauce

This is one of the easiest recipes that can be prepared under 10 minutes. The sweet flavours of prawns and butter sauce are delicious, and make it a winning dish. The prawns are marinated in salt and pepper. The sauce is made up of butter, white wine, cream and parmesan. Depending on the quantity of sauce we make, we can turn the dish into an appetizer or the sauce for pasta as main course.

  • Prawns: 250-300 gm
  • Butter: 2 tbsp
  • Lime juice: 1 tbsp
  • White wine: 1/4 cup
  • Extra thick cream: 1- 2 tbsp
  • Parmesan: 1-2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: 1/4 tsp

Lemon Garlic Prawns in Butter Sauce

Step 1:

Marinate the prawns with salt and pepper in a bowl. Set aside for a couple of min until you prepare the rest of the ingredients.

Step 2:

In a frying pan, add butter and let it melt on a medium flame. Add the chopped garlic, sauté them for 2 minutes and then add the marinated prawns. Cook them on each side for 2 minutes and transfer them into a bowl.

Step 3:

Add lime juice and white wine into the same frying pan, let it simmer for about 30 seconds and then add the cream and parmesan, mix and then add the prawns and mix well. Garnish them with parsley. Delicious prawns are ready in 10 minutes.
