

Quick, easy and super tasty....
Pop your rice in the steamer / on the hob. You should be done with the beef around the same time as the rice.
Chop your shallots and chillies and fry on a medium heat for 5 mins then add the garlic paste for 1 more min. Add in the beef and cook until browned. Drain off most of the fat (not all as that's where the flavour is), then back on the heat and add the jam, SC sauce, vinegar and soy.
Let this simmer for 5 to 10 mins until thickened then throw in the peas a couple of minutes before the end.
Serve on rice and topped with a fried egg. Sprinkle over the sesame seeds, little drizzle of sesame oil and enjoy!
