INGREDIENTS

  • 1 red onion finely diced
  • 1 red chilli finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 250 g crab meat
  • 2 Heaped tablespoon creme fraiche
  • 2 tbsps lemon juice
  • 300 g linguine pasta
  • 50 g parmesan cheese grated
  • 3 tbsps flat leaf parsley chopped

Chilli Crab Linguine

This Pasta dish is the ultimate fast food, this is incredibly tasty and so easy to make. If you cannot find fresh crab then a good quality tinned will do.

  1. Cook the pasta to the packets instructions, reserve some of the cooking liquid for the sauce.
  2. Fry the onion in a splash of olive oil over a medium heat for 3 minutes then add the chilli and garlic and cook for a further minute, add the crab, creme fraiche and a good squeeze of lemon juice. season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the cooked pasta into the pan then add add enough of the reserved pasta water to let the sauce down a little. Scatter in the parsley and stir through to combine.
  4. Portion into serving bowls then sprinkle over a little parmesan cheese.
