Taco Beef
  • 800 g Beef Mince
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1 Red Pepper Chopped
  • 1 Green Pepper Chopped

  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper (leave out for kids)

Taco Sauce
  • 500 g Passata
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Cumin
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Onion Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • Salt Pepper
  • Small Glass of Water
Extras
  • Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
  • Pico Di Gallo
  • Limes
  • Fresh Coriander
  • Grated White Cheddar
  • Jalepenos

Beef Tacos


  1. Heat 1-2 tbsp olive oil in a pan, add onion and cook over low heat until softened.
  2. Add garlic, cook for 1-2 mins.
  3. Add peppers and cook for 3-5 mins.
  4. Add mince, cook over high heat until starting to brown, break up lumps with wooden spoon.
  5. Add spices and season well.
  6. Add stock, bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 mins until liquid has evaporated.
  7. In a pot add all your taco sauce ingredients, season, bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 mins until thickened.
  8. Serve beef with taco shells, pico de Gallo lettuce, sour cream, cheese and taco sauce.
