  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • ½ Cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsps cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ Cup hot water (microwave for 50 seconds and add slowly at the end while mixing)
  • 1 Cup chocolate chips (add by hand with a spatula)

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease a squarecake pan (or bundt pan) with shortening or coconut oil.
  3. Combine dry ingredients in one bowl.
  4. Add all the wet ingredients to another bowl.
  5. add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.
  6. Pour in your pans and bake for 45-50 min. Let cool before removing.
