  • 1 Cup Brewed Coffee
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar or sweetener substitute
  • ½ Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Peppermint Extract
  • Couple shakes of Salt

Mama Jill’s Peppy Mocha Coffee Syrup


  1. Heat up a pot on medium. Pour 1 Cup of brewed coffee in the pot. Let it get hot.
  2. Turn heat down to a 2/3 level.
  3. Add 1 Cup of sugar, whisk.
  4. Add in ½ Cup cocoa powder, whisk.
  5. Add vanilla extract, peppermint extract and salt. Whisk.
  6. Turn the heat back up to medium after 5 minutes. It should be thickening up by now. KEEP STIRRING!!!!! Don’t leave it unattended. Once it boils and is thick, then the heat off and let it rest.
  7. Once cooled, transfer to a pump dispenser. A dollar store soap dispenser works great!!!
  8. Put the desired amount in your coffee or hot chocolate, and ENJOY!!! 💙
