Ingredients
  • 900 g rib eye steak
  • 230 ml reduced salt soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp gochujang
  • 1 tsp peak blends Korean spice mix
  • 150 g basmati rice
  • 2 spring onions (sliced)
  • 2 red chillies (sliced)
  • sesame seeds to garnish

  1. Cut steak into strips and put aside, in a bowl mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic paste, grated ginger, brown sugar, gochujang and Korean spice mix and put into a sealed bag along with the steak and give it a good Shake then put in the fridge to marinate for 24hrs,
  2. When you are ready to cook, boil up the rice and fry marinated steak in a hot griddle pan for 2 min on each side and serve on the rice and garnish with spring onion, chilli and sesame seeds.
