1/ Top and tail the beans. Slice the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a pan over a medium head. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 5 – 10 mins until soft. Add the beans, tomatoes, stock, chilli, salt and oregano. Mix well, bring to a simmer and then turn to a low heat and leave to cook for at least an hr.
2/ Cut the halloumi into about 6 slices and then quarter each slice so you have small rectangles of cheese. Set up 3 bowls, one with the flour, one with the egg (beaten) and the other with the breadcrumbs. One piece at a time dip the cheese in the flour, then the egg and then the breadcrumbs and coat all over at each stage.
3/ Spray the halloumi pieces with spray oil and pop them in the airfryer for 10mins at 200℃ . If you don’t have an airfryer you can shallow fry in some vegetable oil for a couple of minutes on each side.
