Ingredients
  • Mango and Apple Sauce
  • 1 Mango (chopped into chunks)
  • 1 Green Apple (cored and cut into chunks)
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • ½ tsp of paprika
  • ½ tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke
  • Chicken Seasoning
  • 500 g chicken wings
  • 2 tbsps of Dunn’s River Jerk Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp All Purpose Seasoning
  • ½ tbsp paprika
  • ½ tbsp cayenne pepper

1.       Prep your chicken wings

2.       Season your wings and leave overnight or in the fridge for a few hours (if you do not have the time you can season and pop them in the oven right away)

3.       Cover your wings with foil and cook for an hour on gas mark 3

4.       Blend together the juice of the limes, green apple and mango

5.       In a small pot, on a medium to low heat, bring the mango and apple mix to a boil adding your honey, liquid smoke and spices

6.       Allow the sauce to thicken up

7.       In the last 10 minutes of your wings cooking, uncover them and allow to crisp up

8.       Remove your wings from the oven and toss them in your mango and apple sauce.


Get messy and enjoy with a side of your choice
