  • 3 tbsps Caster Sugar
  • 2 tsps Vanilla Bean Paste

  • 500 ml Vegetable Oil To Fry
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

  1. In a measuring jug add the buttermilk, melted butter, eggs and vanilla paste and whisk together. In a mixing bowl add the flour, baking powder and sugar and mix together. Pour the wet mixture into the flour and mix together until you have a thick batter.
  2. Heat the oil to 180℃, dip a pair of spoons into oil and using them make little balls as best you can to carefully drop into the oil, cook for 3-4 mins until golden on both sides and puffed up. Remove and drain on kitchen paper then toss into a small bowl of caster sugar & cinnamon to coat. Serve with toffee sauce or any dip of your choice, Enjoy.
