  • 1¼ Cups Flour
  • ¾ Cup Corn Meal
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • 2 tsps Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • ¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 Corn on the Cobb
  • Butter to top

Mama Jill’s Homemade Corn Bread


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. De-cob the corn, have it precooked. Toss the corn in the bowl.
  3. Mix it up…. REAL GOOD!
  4. Grease a pan/skillet with Butter or EVOO
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
  6. Take it out of the oven, poke a few holes in it with a fork, and top with butter.
  7. Enjoy!
