  • 400 g Shrimp or king prawns
  • 230 g Jar of chipotle in adobo
  • 6 tbsps Olive oil
  • 3 tbsps Honey
  • 1 Juice of a lime
  • 8 Cloves of garlic
  • 2 Avacados
  • 1 Bunch coriander
  • 4 tbsps Sour cream
  • 1 Juice of a lime
  • Salt and pepper
To serve
  • Toasted tortilla
  • Pickled red oinions
  • Red cabbage

Get spicy on Taco Tuesday with chipotle marinaded shrimp and avocado crema!

Prep 30 minutes
Total 2 hours 30 minutes

Place the chipotle in adobo, honey, garlic, olive oil and lime in a blender and blend until smooth. Place the prawns in the mix and marinade for a couple of hours.


When done, skewer and grill. Easy!


For the crema, simply combine the rest of the ingredients and blend. Couldn't be easier!
