Chocolate Banana and Biscoff ‘Brownies’

I was aiming for a chocolate banana bread when I was making this, but it ended up with a consistency which is more like a brownie, so I’m sticking with that! It’s incredibly delicious and you just can’t stop eating it once you start!

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Mash your bananas so they are nice and smooth.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the rest of your ingredients with an electric whisk, leaving out the bashed chocolate until the end.
  4. Add your bananas to your mixture and give that another good mix. Finally, add your bashed chocolate and mix.
  5. Pour the mixture into a lined (with greaseproof paper) tin. Ensure it’s lined well so it doesn’t stick!
  6. Melt your biscoff spread and swirl it into the top of the mixture using a sharp knife, or if you have a skewer, use that!
  7. Pop into the oven for around 35-40 minutes at 160 degrees and cook until you can stick a sharp knife into the centre and no wet mixture comes out.
  8. Once cooked, leave on a wire cooling rack for around 10 minutes and then cut up and enjoy!

Hi, I am Becci! I am an avid food blogger and spend the majority of my time thinking about food, whether that be planning what I am going to cook next, or what restaurant I am going to eat at. Since moving out of my parents home, I have slowly got more confident in the kitchen and I have had so many requests for some dishes I have made on my Instagram @mcr.foodie, so I thought what better way to do this than to join Cookly Bookly and then there is a place you can come to get the recipe directly. I hope you enjoy!
