INGREDIENTS

  • 300 g Fresh/Dried Spaghetti
  • 150 g Seafood mix (I use mussels, prawns and calamari)
  • 2 Shallots
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Flakes
  • 4 Cloves of fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp Veg bouillon/stock powder
  • 100 ml White Wine
  • 150 ml Good quality olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Fresh/dried parsley
  • 2 tbsps Capers
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 Lemon squeezed juice

Super easy Chilli & Garlic Seafood Spaghetti

quick to make and so so tasty!

  1. Boil a saucepan of heavily salted water and cook the pasta for 2 minutes less than the recommended packet cooking time
  2. Drain and drizzle in olive oil ensuring all is covered and mixed through. Then set aside
  3. Finely slice lengthy ways the Shallots
  4. On a medium high heat add the shallots to a well oiled pan and cook for 1-2 minutes
  5. Roughly Chop the garlic and add to the pan with the chilli flakes , mix thoroughly and cook for another 1-2 minutes
  6. Add the bouillon/stock powder and the white wine and mix through until disolved then add the seafood mix and cook for 1-2 minutes
  7. Increase the heat slightly and add the Spaghetti with a nice glug of olive oil and toss through. Cook for a further 1-2 minutes
  8. Add the parsley and capers and lemon juice with another glug of olive oil and toss through
  9. Season to taste, toss through and serve
