  • 1 large head of cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • handful chopped spring onions (to top)
Batter
  • ¾ cup all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup oat milk
  • 2 tbsps water
  • 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
  • 1 tsp dried coriander
  • 2 tsps paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
Chilli sauce
  • 3 Heaped tablespoon doubanjiang (chilli bean sauce/paste)
  • 1 Heaped tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
  • 3 tbsps water

Spicy Chilli Bean Baked Cauliflower

  1. Preheat the oven to 220℃. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the batter ingredients together. Toss the cauliflower florets into the batter mix. Ensure all the cauliflower is properly coated with the batter. Place on the baking sheet, ensure to spread out each floret
  3. Bake for 20 minutes. Check it at the halfway mark and give it a toss
  4. In the meantime prepare the chilli mix. After 20 minutes, take out the cauliflower and drizzle all over with the chilli sauce. Bake for another 20 minutes
  5. Top with the spring onions
